Deputy corps adopted amendments to the law "On additional guarantees for the social protection of orphans and children left without parental care" in the first reading. Deputy of the Supreme Council Grigory Dyachenko developed Legislative initiative

The parliamentarian suggested that a monthly allowance equal to 50 MW RU orphans studying at the 1, 2 courses of military schools. The fact is that this category does not apply to the payment of pensions for loss of breadwinner. These orphan children attending military schools are on full state support. However, according to the author of the legislative initiative, they are experiencing financial difficulties, and many household accessories they have to buy their own. According to the decision of the parliament the proposed law-in-draft was sent to the relevant committee on Social Policy to prepare a document for consideration at the second reading.

Lawmakers also approved the state target program for the period until 2019, aimed at providing living quarters for orphans and children left without parental care. The national budget includes funds in the amount of more than 383 thousand rubles for the purchase of housing for these children in the capital expenditure program. Deputies Alexander Korshunov and Oleg Vasilaty consider it necessary to set the amount of funding for these purposes in the amount of 5 million rubles a year. Supported by colleagues legislative initiative will be finalized for adoption in the second reading.
