The Legislations on Citizenship and Migration was adopted

The Deputies at the plenary session adopted in the final reading a package of legislations aimed at liberalizing PMR citizenship institution, simplifying the registration procedures and choosing the place of residence on the territory of the republic, entry and exit of citizens crossing the state border.

The main of the legislations is "On the citizenship of PMR" - was adopted by parliamentarians, taking into account the amendment introduced by the deputy of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov. He proposed to change the condition for obtaining Pridnestrovian citizenship by a foreign citizen who carries out entrepreneurial activities on the territory of the republic, in particular, to increase the share of investments in the economy of the republic. The deputy of the profile committee on the legislation Vitaly Kalin expressed the opinion that the amendment introduced for consideration makes sense, although it can negatively affect the business activity of foreign entrepreneurs

In the third reading, legislations "On the order of entry to PMR and exit from PMR", "On the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in PMR", "On migration registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in PMR", "On the right of citizens PMR on freedom of movement, choice of place of residence and residence within the PMR", which involves making the necessary changes in other legislative acts. As the vice speaker of the parliament, the chairman of the responsible committee Galina Antyufeeva noted, in the discussion of amendments to the second reading of the draft law within the framework of the working group.

A simplified procedure for the adoption of Pridnestrovian citizenship will work, for example, if one of the parents or family members is a citizen of PMR, for those who lived on the territory of the republic in the period of the USSR, for those who are investing in the economy of the republic, it creates enterprises here. The procedure for issuing a residence permit has also been simplified. The adopted norms of the law, according to Galina Antyufeeva, are aimed at the realization of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens.

The package of adopted legislations was sent to the President for signature.
