The Supreme Council approved the draft guidelines for the single state monetary policy for 2015 and the planning period of 2016 and 2017 presented by the central bank. It contains the analysis of the macroeconomic situation of the republic and assessment of monetary policy, macroeconomic forecast development of the state, as well as the direction of development of the banking system and banking supervision in the next year and planning period of the next two years.

Deputies adopted in the second and final reading the law-in-draft of government on amendments and addendum to the law “On state guarantees payment to citizens who have the right to land (share)”. It is designed to optimize the benefits of material compensation to holders of rights to share in the material and monetary value. Having considered the law-in-draft, the parliamentary committee on AIC proposed to amend it. One of the amendments dealt with the definition of the procedure of obtaining material compensation not only for the shareholders who qualify for the land share, but also for those who got it right by inheritance.

The presidential initiative amending the law “On wages of public sector employees and pay per person and persons equated to them under the terms of payment of monetary remuneration” passed the second reading procedure. The law-in-draft proposed to provide security committee the right to establish the degree of danger of explosive objects by its legal act. The law will determine the order of preparation of the report on the results of work performed by employees of special units for detection and neutralization of explosive objects.

The deputies adopted a governmental law-in-draft to amend the basic law of the education sector. The necessity of modern and unambiguous interpretation of the state educational standard in content, conditions and results of operations of all levels of education caused the initiative. Parliamentary committee proposed to identify the order of formation of state standards of professional education, as well as the list of professions, specialties and areas of training levels of professional education.

Parliamentarians supported the offer of the head of parliamentary committee Vladimir Bodnar regarding making addendum to the Law “On Education”. The concept of “quality education” will be introduced in the current legislation of the Republic as part of the harmonization process with the Russian Federation.
