Oleg Markovich Bayev, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic of the III – VII convocations (since 2000), political and public figure, president of the Lions Club, general director of the Tiraspol wine and cognac factory “KVINT”, doctor of technical sciences, professor, celebrates his 75th anniversary today, November 23. President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated Oleg Bayev on his anniversary.

Oleg Bayev has been a deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency in the Dubossary district since 2000. Oleg Markovich is a member of the Committee on Agriculture, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources of the Parliament. Regularly, together with colleagues on the Committee, he co-authors legislations that improve the life of villages, change the norms of laws in the field of agro-industrial complex for the development of agriculture, horticulture, vegetable growing, livestock breeding and other branches of agriculture in Pridnestrovie. The work of Oleg Bayev in parliament was also noted by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov.

Work in the constituency

Nothing characterizes a deputy more than his work in the constituency. Oleg Bayev got a difficult district - one of the largest in terms of territory. It includes 19 villages and 2 microdistricts in the Dubossary district. There are always a lot of problems in villages, solving them can be more difficult than in cities.

Two new territories were included in Oleg Baev’s constituency – the village of Dzerzhinskoye and the Dubossary microdistrict of Lunga in 2020. Residents of the district were immediately surrounded with care and attention.

Employees of the House of Culture of the Lunga microdistrict turned to the deputy with a request to help decorate the facade of the building for the New Year for the first time. Oleg Markovich helped. He came personally and instead of the 4 ordered garlands, he brought 12. So a productive collaboration began.

Taking care of children

The deputy pays special attention to children. This can be confirmed in all villages and microdistricts of the constituency. Kindergartens and schools in the district are becoming cozier and more comfortable for learning and leisure with the help of Oleg Bayev: replacing windows, doors, repairs, improving sanitary facilities for children, new equipment for teachers. The work is systematic and annual.

All the plumbing were changed, office equipment and 8 module beds for babies were purchased with the help of Oleg Bayev over the past three years at the Golden Cockerel Child Development Center in Lunga microdistrict of Dubossary. New lockers for clothes and shoes were purchased for the 35th anniversary of the institution this year.

Village improvement

Oleg Bayev's constituency includes 19 villages. There is the village of Goyany among them. Only 527 people live there now, but the cultural life of the village is in full swing. There is also a House of Culture, a school, and an agricultural boarding house that attracts tourists. The development of the village is supported by a deputy of the Supreme Council.

Development of viticulture and social support for villagers

The name of Oleg Bayev is inextricably linked with the Tiraspol Wine and Cognac Factory. It was at this enterprise that he began his career in 1967. Oleg Bayev headed the plant in 1986. The enterprise went through the difficult 90s under his leadership, when it was necessary not only not to lose the plant, but also to revive industrial winemaking in the republic. This required a raw material base. It was on the initiative of Oleg Bayev that the first 15 hectares of vineyards were planted in 1995 in the village of Doibany, Dubossary district. This is how the development of viticulture began not only in Doybany, but throughout the republic.

Today the KVINT plant is the pride of the republic. The plant's products regularly win medals at international competitions. This is a modern enterprise with the latest equipment. The plant's vineyards cover an area of more than 2 thousand hectares. 1.5 thousand of them are in Doybany. The expansion of production in the village, which is also part of Oleg Bayev’s district, breathed new life into the surrounding settlements, gave impetus to the development of social infrastructure and an increase in the number of jobs.
