Pridnestrovians in Moscow

According to information posted on the official website of "The Parliamentary newspaper" (the publication of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation), press conference with the participation of Pridnestrovian parliamentarians on "Pridnestrovie: how to survive in the conditions of economic blockade?" was held today at 10:00 Moscow time

The delegation of the Supreme Council is on a working visit to Moscow and will be in the Russian capital until February 20. The State Duma was the initiator of the inter-parliamentary dialogue. Pridnestrovian side includes Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky, heads of parliamentary committees Mikhail Burla, Victor Guzun, Alexander Martynov, his deputy Peter Pasat. All of them are members of the Foreign Policy and International Relations Commission. The purpose of the visit – is to discuss the revitalization and expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation, harmonization of the legislation of Pridnestrovian problem solving socio-economic situation of the republic, including humanitarian.

It is expected that during the press conference the Pridnestrovian MPs talk about the legal aspects of the support and protection of compatriots, Russian citizens on the territory of Pridnestrovie, measures of economic and political control over the establishment of stability in the region and the problems of security and social protection of citizens in the conditions of the blockade.
