Pridnestrovian Quality

The contest “Pridnestrovian Quality” takes place annually in the republic since 2003. Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the ministries of economic development, agriculture and natural resources, public services of transport, energy and utilities, state administrations of towns and regions were the organizers of it.

The main goal of the competition - is to improve the company's image and promote the highest quality domestic products both in the domestic and foreign markets. It conditions for all economic actors are alike. It allows identifying the best products, regardless of the degree of development of its producers.

Enterprises, organizations of various forms of ownership and individual entrepreneurs operating in the republic can declare their products or services at the highest level. This year the competition was attended by 44 companies, which was double the amount declared itself in the year of its foundation. They were nominated in more than 50 directions. These include clothing, footwear, fish, furniture, agricultural products. Most of the participating companies export products to the Russian Federation and other CIS countries and the EU. More than 200 products and services are certified. More than half of participating companies represented the capital (23), Bendery in the second place - 11 enterprises, then Slobodzeya – 5, Dubossari - 3, Rybnitsa-2. Many are regular participants: “Tirotex”, JSC “Shoe Company “Tighina”, JSC “Floare”, JSC “Moldavkabel”, JSC “Sewing firm “Vestra”, JSC “Bendery textile weaving factory” and others.

Organizers noted the active participation of small and medium businesses, including representatives of the agricultural sector.

The contest launched in September this year. Expert Commission in the face of specialists from ministries and departments had identified the relevant requirements of each product for three months.

Ceremony awarding the winners of the “Pridnestrovian quality-2014” took place today in the Palace of Culture. The event was attended by members of the Government, the Supreme Council, the heads of administrations of towns and regions, representatives of town and regional councils of people's deputies.

Expert Committee “Pridnestrovian quality – 2014” appreciated products of Parkany meat-processing plant that is included to “Fialt-Agro”. It is a developing modern processing plant with a complete production cycle, which produces more than 80 kinds of sausages. The “Fialt-Agro” company participates in the competition for the fourth time.
