Pridnestrovian light industry goods – in the center of Tiraspol

Pridnestrovie celebrates Light Industry Day every year on the second Sunday of June. All our enterprises operating in the industry by tradition demonstrate their products on portable counters on a holiday. The exhibition-sale was not organized in the capital's Pobeda (Victory) park cunlike previous years, but in the Catherine Park. Bed linen, clothes, shoes were presented by Tirotex, Intercentrlux, Odema enterprises from Tiraspol, Floare, Softshoes from Bendery. There were goods from other little-known companies, for example, Kalita, which produces home clothes. The quality of products of Pridnestrovian enterprises was assessed by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva.

The enterprises prepared novelties for the professional holiday. For example, CJSC "Odema" named after Solovieva presented summer models of linen and silk trousers, Safari dresses made of light fabric, classic dresses for office ladies and comfortable dresses and skirts for those who love sports. The enterprises continue to work steadily despite the external situation and difficulties with logistics. The Head of Intercenter Lux anatoly Dzernovich told about the company. He spoke about the models that the enterprise created like about children.

The state provides support to light industry enterprises, said Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva. Taxation is reduced, low-interest loans are issued. For example, state support measures continue to operate, designed to minimize the negative consequences for the socio-economic sphere of the republic this year. In addition, a reduced coefficient has been retained for income taxation for enterprises in the footwear and clothing industry that process raw materials supplied by the customer.
