Pridnestrovian pensioners will receive compensation

25.04.2018

The deputy corps in the first reading adopted a package of three legislations, sent by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The legislations were presented by Deputy Minister for Social Protection and Labor Oleg Fedotov at the plenary session. He emphasized that the document is based on the numerous appeals of citizens.

The developer of legislative initiatives proposes to pay monthly compensation to non-working citizens who receive Pridnestrovian pension, the amount of which does not exceed the minimum pension size by age. The amount of compensation will be 100 rubles a month.

The way in which these payments will be implemented is set out in the basic law-in-draft "On monthly compensation for certain categories of PMR pensioners". Changes will also be made to the law "On the republican budget for 2018", as well as to the law "On the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund 2018". By the end of the year, the total amount of expenditures will amount to more than 24 million rubles.

Deputy Andrei Sipchenko proposed to exclude from the category of "unemployed pensioner" citizens who have an entrepreneurial patent, but for a long time do not receive any profit. This issue will be the subject of discussion in the second reading mode. It is scheduled for tomorrow. As the chairman of the profile parliamentary committee Sergei Cheban noted, the deputies will promptly work through all the amendments that have been made so that pensioners can get these payments as early as possible.
