Umakhan Umakhanov visited today Pridnestrovian attractions - the sturgeon complex “Aquatir” and the Bendery fortress. "Aquatir" is a unique enterprise that raise sturgeon fish and produces natural black caviar of sterlet, bester, Russian sturgeon and beluga. They conducted a tour for the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots. They told how sturgeons are grown, why you need to send them to sleep for six months and how to get caviar. The Russian parliamentarian was impressed by what he saw. He photographed pools with sturgeons and took selfies.

There was a tour to the Bendery Fortress. All day the State Duma Deputy was accompanied by the Head of the Pridnestrovian Parliament Alexander Korshunov. He even helped the guide in the fortress - he talked about the reconstruction of the citadel, the temple and the park named after Alexander Nevsky. A few years ago there were actually ruins on this place. Now it is a tourist attraction that attracts more and more guests of the republic. Recently, Italian experts conducted a research of the Bendery fortress in order to know: the complexity of the reconstruction of the walls of the citadel has to be done. Today, the whole history of the Bendery fortress was told to Umakhan Umakhanov - from the time of the Ottoman Empire to the present day. They also showed artifacts found during the excavations.

Immediately after this excursion, the Russian parliamentarian completed his first study visit to Pridnestrovie. The Head of the commission of the State Duma of Russia on the problems of compatriots Umakhan Umakhanov noted: he will return to our republic.
