Delegation of the Supreme Council deputies and heads of government bodies continues to work in the XXIX International Educational Readings, taking place in Moscow, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Nevsky.
The IX Parliamentary Readings were held today within the framework of the forum in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill addressed the parliamentarians. He emphasized that the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation adopted last year create conditions for the further improvement of the country's legislation, taking into account the basic traditional values.

Representatives of the Pridnestrovian delegation within the framework of the Parliamentary Readings took part in a round table on the topic “State and Church. Collaboration in the protection and strengthening of the spiritual and moral foundation of Russian society". The Forum within the framework of the Readings was organized and conducted by the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society, Issues of Public and Religious Associations.
The main attention should be paid to the youth, the presidential initiatives on patriotic education are implemented in the laws according to the parliamentarian.
Deputies of the State Duma, representatives of federal executive bodies, the Russian Orthodox Church, other centralized religious organizations, non-profit organizations, higher educational institutions, leading scientists and experts discussed issues of protecting the spiritual sovereignty of Russia, cooperation between the state and religious organizations in order to strengthen traditional spiritual and moral values , patriotic education of Russian youth, support for the social service of the Church. The results of the five-year joint work of the deputies and religious organizations to amend the current legislation of the Russian Federation were summed up.
