Pridnestrovie celebrates May Day

May Day celebrations are widely celebrated in Tiraspol. There is an exhibition-fair "Buy Pridnestrovian" in the main capital square. It opened at 10 am and attracted the attention of Tiraspol residents and visitors. With the spring holiday of peace and labor, they were congratulated by the leader of the trade unions of Pridnestrovie Viktor Ivanchenkov. He noted that May 1 is an invariable symbol of unity and solidarity, an expression of deep respect for creative work.

There are products of domestic producers in the Suvorov Square. As the President of CCI Yuri Ganin said, 64 Pridnestrovian companies presented it. Among them, the sewing company "Vestra", the factories "Odema" and "Intercenter Lux". Represented their products and shoemakers. Men's, children's and women's footwear "Flotti", “Softshus” is well known to Pridnestrovians. Traditionally, KVINT, Elektormash, Kamensky Cannery, Cardi LLC, Kitskan Milk, representatives of the catering sector and many others take part in the exhibition. As was announced by the organizers of the fair "Buy Pridnestrovian", the discount system is applied to the products displayed. On a number of products, it reaches 20%.

The lower part of the central square is left for rest and entertainment. Near DDYUT there is a competition of drawings, concerts, exhibitions of products of arts and crafts. It is planned that the festive events on the main square of the capital will last up to 16 hours.

The International Workers' Solidarity Day is celebrated throughout the republic. The meeting, organized by the territorial association of trade unions, took place on the summer stage of the city park of Rybnitsa, at the square of the 60th anniversary of the Great October Revolution in Kamenka and other cities of Pridnestrovie. Art groups performed here.
