The session of the Presidium of the Supreme Council was held today by Deputy Chairman of the Legislature Galina Antyufeeva. As you know, the head of the parliament Alexander Shcherba is in Russia as part of the Pridnestrovian delegation headed by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Within the framework of the working visit to Moscow, a number of meetings took place in the State Duma of Russia, including the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots. The list of issues to be discussed includes the expansion of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation, the socio-economic support of the republic's population, the acquisition of Russian citizenship by young Pridnestrovians born after December 1991, the negotiation process between the PMR and the Republic of Moldova, the foreign political situation surrounding Pridnestrovie, and several others.
Members of the Presidium discussed legislative plans for April. It was decided to hold plenary sessions on the 18th and 25th of April. In their agendas there are a number of legislations of social orientation. The government submitted to the Supreme Council a law-in-draft introducing amendments to the law "On state pension provision of citizens in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". The goal of the initiative is to establish social justice in terms of material support for all categories of citizens who have lost breadwinners. In particular, it is planned to expand the number of persons entitled to receive two pensions (old age or long service pension, or disability pension and survivor's pension). This right is granted to widows who have not remarried, and to parents of deceased invalids who are participants in hostilities, regardless of the cause of death. In case of adoption of the law, the size of the second pension will be 1400 rubles.
The authors of the law-in-draft, changing the norms of the law "On social protection of veterans of war" and providing for the provision of free transportation for war veterans to the place of treatment and rehabilitation were made by deputies Vadim Kravchuk and Andrei Safonov. The basis for drafting the legislation was the appeal of representatives of the Rybnitsa Union of Defenders of Pridnestrovie. The deputy corps will consider the document in the first reading. The new norm of the law will be available to residents of other remote regions of the republic who come to the capital for treatment.
It is planned to complete work on amendments to the Labor Code in April. The authors of the law-in-draft were a group of deputies. The goal of the initiative is to improve labor legislation in the sphere of labor regulation for employees. In particular, it is planned to introduce a change aimed at fixing the list of medical contraindications in the code, in the presence of which persons are not allowed to perform pedagogical activities. Currently, the issue is regulated on the basis of the relevant order of the Ministry of Health. In connection with the need to bring the current legislative acts into line with the law, the document is considered in the third reading.
Under the government, a council for the development of small business is being created. it is proposed by the Supreme Council in its composition to introduce two deputies - Vadim Doni and Vadim Kravchuk. The resolution of the Supreme Council will be adopted accordingly in plenary session.
