The Presidium of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie discussed the plenary session agenda

The PMR Supreme Council Presidium meeting was held today, at which the agenda of the plenary session scheduled for February 26, 2025 was considered.

One of the main issues submitted for consideration by the deputy corps tomorrow is amendments to the law-in-draft "On the republican budget for 2025". The amendments are aimed at clarifying certain provisions of the budgets of all levels, taking into account the difficult economic situation in the republic.

In addition, law-in-draft concerning the implementation of a tax experiment in 2025, which will grant certain categories of taxpayers the right to use a special procedure for calculating payments for environmental pollution and the use of natural resources will be considered. The law-in-draft is aimed at clarifying the terms of the tax experiment proposed earlier.

The Presidium approved the date of the next plenary session – March 5, 2025 today. The Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex and Transport included specialized legislations on its agenda – amendments to the state program for replacing street lamps, additions to the law on compulsory motor third-party liability insurance and a package of legislations regulating the activities of peasant farms within the boundaries of populated areas. The Supreme Council will consider legislative initiatives in the field of social policy and employment of the population, prepared for consideration by the specialized parliamentary Committee on the 5th of March.
