The PMR Supreme Council Presidium held a meeting

Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic held a meeting online. Members of the Presidium determined the date of the next plenary meeting and added to the agenda of the plenary meeting scheduled for the 27th of February.

The deputy corps will consider the draft law “On the Republican Budget for 2024” in the second final reading, according to which the level of wages will be increased for teachers and doctors tomorrow, on the 27th of February. All educational institution teachers from February 1, and medical workers from April 1. The PMR government prepared amendments for the second reading; they were considered in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance.

The Committee on Regional Policy and Housing and Communal Services submitted a package of legislations presented by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the mode of legislative necessity, at the plenary meeting on February 27. The President proposes to amend the law “On the Road Fund” and the PMR Housing Code, which will determine the procedure for allocating and spending funds for the repair of sidewalks, courtyards and intra-block driveways. The parliamentary corps plans to consider these legislations in two readings at once.

The next plenary meeting of the PMR Supreme Council, by decision of the Presidium, is scheduled for the 6th of March.
