The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the PMR determined the date of the next plenary meeting

The next meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the PMR was held online today. It was conducted by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov.

The next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, by decision of the Presidium, is scheduled for February 27, this is Tuesday. The Committee on Regional Policy and Housing and Communal Services submitted to this parliamentary meeting a number of legislations prepared for consideration in the second reading. We are talking about changes to the laws “On local authorities, local self-government and state administration in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” and on “On the status of a satellite city in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”. Meetings of parliamentary Committees will take place, following which the agenda of the plenary meeting on February 27 will also be supplemented this week.

The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic supplemented today the agenda of the plenary meeting, which will take place tomorrow, February 21. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance is submitting amendments to the law “On the Republican Budget for 2024” for consideration in the first reading. The law-in-draft provides for adjustments to the indicators of the revenue side of the national budget, approval of the balances of funds existing as of January 1, 2024 in the accounts of the republican and local budgets, as well as the implementation of measures to increase the level of wages of workers in the field of education and social protection from February 1, 2024 and workers in the healthcare from April 1, 2024. The Parliament will approve tomorrow the Resolution on holding the VII Congress of Deputies of all levels of Pridnestrovie, the convening of which was initiated by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.
