The next plenary sessions will take place on the 26th of October and on the 2nd of November. The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic supplemented today the agenda of tomorrow's plenary session and determined the agenda for the next session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
As of October 26, the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance submitted a number of legislations related to changes to the law on the republican budget for 2022 and to the Resolution “On Approval of the State Program for the Execution of Voter Orders for 2022”.
The Presidium at the plenary session scheduled for November 2 submitted legislative initiatives that were considered and prepared for adoption in the first or second reading by the Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media, the Committee on Legislation, and the Committee on Economic Policy. The law-in-draft on amendments to the law "On Protection of Consumer Rights" that was adopted 20 years ago will be considered in the first reading in particular. More than 20 amendments are mainly of a technical, clarifying nature and harmonize the law with a similar Russian legislative act. The deputies in the first reading will consider amendments to the law "On excises". The Government proposes a one-time exemption from paying excise duty when importing cars into the republic to citizens who are dependent on children with limited mobility, immobile disabled children, disabled children of groups I and II. The legislative initiative of the Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is among the submitted legislations. It involves tougher criminal liability for drivers who drive under the influence of alcohol and have previously been prosecuted for "drunk" driving or have a criminal record for it.
