Chaired by Speaker Alexander Korshunov online meeting of the Presidium took place at the PMR Supreme Council. The heads of parliamentary committees and commissions voted to include draft laws and regulations prepared for consideration by the Supreme Council on the agenda of plenary sessions.
The Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens put about 20 issues on the agenda of the plenary meeting, which is scheduled for the 15th of May. This includes the new law-in-draft “On the PMR law enforcement agencies” and related changes to a number of other existing laws; they are planned to be adopted in the second non-final reading and continue consideration in the second reading. The deputy corps will have to vote for the adoption in the first or second readings of amendments to the laws “On local authorities, local self-government and state administration in the PMR”, “On state registration of rights to real estate and transactions with it”, as well as approve the report of the Commissioner on human rights in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2023.
The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance proposed to submit amendments to the laws “On the budget system in the PMR” and “On procurement in the PMR” to the plenary meeting on the 15th of May. The Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media proposes to approve the Resolution on the report of the State Service for Culture on the progress of the implementation of the state target program “Preservation of immovable objects of cultural heritage of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic requiring urgent repairs” for 2019–2024” and on the effectiveness of the use of financial resources for 2023
The next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is scheduled for May 22 by decision of the Presidium.
