Plans and Prospects

Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council discussed a number of initiatives intended for submission to the plenary session. Volume range of questions was submitted by the Committee for the development of business and industry. Legislations for the most part are designed to simplify the activity of economic entities. Soon there will be a final decision on the possibility of extending the patent period of three years. Proposal to expand the list of activities undertaken on the basis of entrepreneurial patent is waiting for parliamentary vote. At the request of the citizens it includes entertainment activities, catering services, maintenance and care of burial places, the production of monuments and other funeral attributes, as well as providing services related to the operation of pay toilets.

Another socially important initiative, submitted by the presidium of the court deputies, aims to simplify administrative procedures for registration of a patent family. Vadim Levitsky proposes to delete the rule obliging notarize an agreement from the Law "On the individual entrepreneur's patent". The adoption of the law-in-draft will save the preparation of documents up to 400 rubles.

In the short term, lawmakers will have to decide with a law-in-draft designed to clarify the provisions of the Housing Code. We are talking about the criteria level of security of citizens living area. According to the Government, citizens with less than 12 square meters of living space should be included in the queue.

The decision to hold the next plenary session of the Supreme Council presidium scheduled for April 27th. As for tomorrow, the inquiry of Andrei Safonov regarding replicated last year data for the withdrawal from the country $ 900 million (an amount equivalent to the Pridnestrovian GDP) will be discussed in addition to legislative initiatives. The deadline for the reply from the Government expired on Wednesday. The KGB leaders, SCC and PGTRK will be invited to the meeting.
