The 13th meeting of the 5th session of the 7th convocation of the PMR Supreme Council is scheduled for May 24. The date was appointed by the Presidium of the Parliament. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov and heads of parliamentary committees and commissions determined the agenda of the meeting. The deputies will consider amendments and additions to the laws on citizens' appeals on May 24, on state registration of legal entities and entrepreneurs, amendments to the Criminal and Criminal Procedure Codes of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. These draft laws were prepared for consideration in the first or second readings by the Committee on Legislation, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance submitted for adoption by the Supreme Council legislative initiatives on amending the laws on personal income tax, on joint-stock companies and limited liability companies, on consumer protection, as well as on additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy in the first or second readings. Reports of the Government on the implementation in 2022 of state targeted programs to support and develop tourism, on concessional lending to combatants to protect the PMR and combatants in Afghanistan, as well as on the results of the State Central Committee on the development of entrepreneurship for 2019 will be heard -2022 years at the plenary session on May 24.
The Presidium supplemented the agenda of the plenary session, which will be held in the Supreme Council on May 17. The deputies in the additional agenda will consider the Government's initiative to amend the republican budget for 2023, a package of legislative initiatives to amend the law on countering extremism, the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Criminal Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
