The beginning of this week was marked by active legislative activity. Yesterday the meetings were held in five parliamentary committees, today the session of the Presidium of the Supreme Council was held. Its members prepared the agendas of tomorrow's and next plenary sessions. The next one is scheduled for January 31 in connection with the intention of the highest executive authority and the President to submit a law-in-draft on crypto currency to the legislature. This legislative initiative is expected to be introduced in the regime of legislative necessity.
There are many legislations on the agenda of the next plenary sessions that concern amendments to the budget-2018, amendments to the laws "On payment for land" and "On a single fixed agricultural tax", labor legislation, military and civil services, including simplification of the transition from one to another, amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Code of Administrative Offenses, and others.
One of the legislations supposed to be considered by the journalists was commented on by the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba.
As the Speaker of the Parliament specified, state support will concern those economic entities that use innovative approaches in their production activities. As Alexander Shcherba hopes, it will make the Pridnestrovian economy more competitive so that it can be integrated into the world economy.
