There will be more applicants for state subsidy for the purchase of housing

There will be more applicants for state subsidies for purchasing their own housing. The deputies supported the initiative of the Government, which proposed to include the employees of the convoy battalion of the Ministry of Justice's internal troops in the list of applicants for state subsidies.

Employees of the escort battalion of the internal troops, as well as certified specialists of the penal system, are part of the structure of the Ministry of Justice. According to the deputies of the Supreme Council, this category of young specialists should also be eligible for subsidies from the state.

Let us remind you that the law "On state support of young families for the purchase of housing" was adopted in February last year. However, due to the pandemic and the need to urgently redirect budget funds to combat the spread of coronavirus infection, the implementation of the program to purchase housing for young professionals had to be postponed. The 2021 budget provides 12 million rubles for this program. Families of young employees of budgetary organizations have already begun to receive certificates for their own housing this year.
