The Pre-Session Discussion

Members of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction discussed already adopted in the first reading the law-in-draft "On international contracts of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic". According to the chairman of the Committee on legislation Galina Antyufeeva, deputies proposed for the second reading a number of amendments that will retain the right to accept the Supreme Council of the framework rules on the territory of Pridnestrovie, international contracts and agreements. In addition, deputies consider it necessary to provide the Accounting Chamber the right to make such examination of documents.

Proposals to adjust the volume of guarantees and compensations stipulated by law for former top officials and their families were discussed at a meeting of the faction. Deputies Oleg Khorzhan and Oleg Vasilaty have different vision of the question. Each of them has developed their initiative. They are recognized as alternative and will be treated in parallel, so that the deputies had the opportunity to take a reasoned decision on the preference of one of them. Members of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction consider it appropriate to adopt as a basis the law-in-draft proposed by Oleg Vasilaty, which aims to optimize budget spending.

Another law-in-draft of Oleg Vasilaty, which proposed to introduce a responsibility to attract not provided by the state budget resources for the activities of the authorities proved to be debatable. The faction colleagues insist that adopted in the first reading document needs work. It is necessary to find the optimal combination of rules that will allow, on the one hand, to avoid the shadow of taxation, extortion of corruption in government, and on the other - will not allow the legal kinks that may be sticks in the wheels of the activities of various departments

The topic of unrest in the foreign exchange market does not remain without attention of members of the parliamentary faction. They talked about the shortage of foreign currency, impose restrictions on its sale and the need for a revitalization of shadow schemes countermeasures. Parliamentarians expect to clarify the situation in the plenary session, participation in which invited the leaders of the PRB, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Interior.
