Today, the capital's Memorial of Glory was unusually empty. Due to quarantine, all mass events including rallies were canceled in the republic. On the day of the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol from the German-Romanian invaders, the PMR President, the Chairman of the Government, and the leadership of the capital came to honor the memory of soldiers and officers of the Red Army.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov laid flowers at the graves of soldiers who selflessly fought for peace, bringing Victory Day closer.
The Parliament Speaker on his own behalf and on behalf of all the deputies of the Supreme Council expressed deep gratitude to the Red Army soldiers who liberated Tiraspol. The bright memory of them will live forever.
