The Pre-New Year Edition

Greetings, with which the speaker of parliament Mikhail Burla addresses Pridnestrovians, opened the New Year edition of the newspaper “The Councils of the People”. The traditional wishes of happiness, health, love are in it.

The next year is marked by two important anniversaries for all of us - the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 25th anniversary of the creation of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The front-page article “The Historical Memory keeping” is devoted to the first significant date. It is about the participation of Pridnestrovian deputies and employees of the Supreme Council in the founding congress of the International Union “The Heirs of the Victory”.

This year's last issue of the official organ of the Supreme Council of the newspaper “The Councils of the People” was doubled. This is due to the fact that most of it takes a list of the most important and urgent legislations designed by deputies of the Supreme Council for the improvement of socio-economic situation of the republic. It became a kind of report on the legislative activity of deputies.

Another important topic of the latest issue - is the adoption of the republican budget for next year. The publication “The Budget – is the Derivative of the Economy” tells about the vicissitudes of this complex process. Discussion of the main financial document of the year in the first and second reading with the participation of heads of state and government were quite tense. When the newspaper was already in the printing, it became known that the Supreme Council adopted the budget-2015 in the third and final reading.
