Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council placed for consideration of the plenary the legislative initiative on amendments to the Administrative Code, the Civil Procedure Code, the laws "On State benefits for citizens with children" and "On the turnover of arms and ammunition on the territory of Pridnestrovie", as well as the package of "sensitive" legislations aimed at strengthening the responsibility for a number of crimes. One of the President's proposals related to the revision of the constitutive elements of offenses related to the conduct of meetings, rallies, demonstrations or picketing, and the introduction of criminal responsibility for their commission.

In addition, the decision of the Presidium of the Committee on Social Policy will develop a new initiative, the adoption of which will close the discrepancy concept of "full time". Earlier, the prosecutor's office appealed to the parliament to give an interpretation of who and how determines its duration.

Outside the agenda of the meeting of the presidium of parliament the socio-economic situation in the republic was discussed. According to deputies, they are increasingly turning citizens who as a result of the Government's decision on partial payment of wages and pensions, were below the poverty line. Alexander Korshunov noted that the cases of calls to the emergency service from people, exhausted from malnutrition became more frequent. According to legislators, it is necessary to return to the issue of the inadmissibility of reduction of payments in cases where the amount is below the subsistence level. Victor Guzun informed his colleagues that he had already appealed to the corresponding letter to the Prime Minister, but received no response. Sergey Cheban considers it appropriate to return to the current year's budget and review its expenditure side, the deletion of the costs that have no serious social values. Oleg Vasilaty, in turn, noted unjustified in the current crisis circumstances (when the residents of the country are deprived of livelihood) costs associated with the construction stops updating curbs, expansion of roads, installation of lighting of buildings, replacement of measuring devices. Legislators decided to initiate in the near future a joint meeting of two Presidiums - of the Supreme Council and the government - in order to discuss this issue and develop a consolidated solution.

Deputies will be tomorrow at the plenary meeting, and then on May 13. Prior to this, on Thursday, May 7, at the threshold of universal celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory deputies and members of the staff of the Supreme Council will meet in the conference room to participate in a conference on the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. It is expected that the event will be attended by representatives of "The Russky Mir", the State Duma and other Russian guests.
