The holiday for children of constituency No.5 “Central” was held in the Park of Alexander Nevsky in Bendery. The children were entertained by animators, they could go on rides and try ice cream for free, and get tickets to a movie at the cinema named after Gorky for Children's Day. The children's holiday was organized by Supreme Council deputy Sergei Pisarenko together with deputies of the Bendery City Council, whose districts belong to parliamentary constituency No.5.
The Deputy of the Bendery City Council Pavel Kiblik says that Children's Day was celebrated in parks and with ice cream in Soviet times, the tradition remains with the exception that the park infrastructure has become more modern. The Park of Alexander Nevsky was opened on the territory of the Bendery Fortress in 2018. The Carousel Yard amusement park appeared two years ago.
The celebration continued in the gazebo of the Carousel Courtyard due to the rain. Children turned there into their favorite characters with the help of face painting, and interacted with animals from the petting zoo. These entertainments were a gift for children from the deputies.
