On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on me personally, I congratulate you on the Defender of the Fatherland Day!

February 23 on the post-Soviet space is a special day, with the established remarkable tradition of honoring the defenders of the native land, paying tribute to the great respect for soldiers and veterans, with gratitude to remember the feats of arms of our soldiers.

This day we congratulate all the men, young men, boys - and the soldiers of the reserve, and those who have yet to take the oath of allegiance to the Motherland. We are honoring military personnel for whom the Day of Defender of the Fatherland is a professional holiday. Of course, this day, one should not forget about female military personnel, who, like their male counterparts, carry a heavy burden of service.

I sincerely wish the defenders of the Motherland good, happiness, harmony and a peaceful sky! Health and longevity to the veterans, successful service to the soldiers and officers!
