The Holiday of People in White Coats

Doctors, medical assistants, nurses, and pharmacists celebrate their professional holiday every year on the third Sunday of June. People of this noble profession daily save lives, help to maintain health and are ready to come to the rescue at any time.

The health workers were honored in Tiraspol, on the eve of the professional holiday. The honorary guest of the holiday was the deputy chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva. The vice-speaker emphasized that today citizens can receive high-level medical care without leaving the republic. The legislator is sure - we have many professionals, highly qualified specialists with extensive experience. They are replaced by graduates of the medical faculty of the State University.

The parliamentarian presented flowers and state decorations. Their owners were employees of the Tiraspol Clinical Center for Outpatient and Polyclinic Care, Medin Medical Center, Bendery Hygiene and Epidemiology Center. For many years of work, high professionalism, the head of the bacteriological laboratory of the Bendery Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology Galina Zaletski was awarded the order "Labor Glory" by the decree of the President. Some medical workers were awarded the honorary title “Honored Doctor of the PMR” for special merits in the work.

During the solemn event they noted: the demographic security of the republic, and hence the social welfare of Pridnestrovie, largely depends on the results of doctors' work.
