Tiraspol hosted a jubilee evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the city's Palace of Culture. The jubilee gathered residents of Tiraspol and guests of the capital in the festive hall. Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Tsurcan, Chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Council for Education, Science and Culture Mikhail Burla, Head of the Moscow State Administration Oleg Dovgopol were among the guests of honor.

Bright, unforgettable events are in the history of the city's Palace of Culture. There was Intercession Church at the place of city's Palace of Culture, and then there was the Summer Theater. 1947 was the year of the founding of the city House of Culture. Many years later, the institution was given a new status - the City Palace of Culture. At the anniversary evening, they remembered Zoya Iskra, the first director of the palace. They talked about the creative collectives: the Theater of the Young Spectator "Blue Bird", the choir of singers, the People's Chamber Orchestra, the children's theater of the modes and, of course, the ensemble of folk music and dance "Vatra". Today this collective is a visiting card of Tiraspol.

To date, there are 21 clubs in the Palace of Culture, 7 of which are collectives called "People's", and 3 teams - "Honored." On behalf of the head of state congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Tsurcan. The head of the parliamentary committee, Mikhail Burla, presented Dmitry Daradur with a welcoming address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Alexander Shcherba, and wished him creative success and implementation of all the planned plans.

Mikhail Burla on behalf of the head of the parliament presented the Honorary Diploma of the Supreme Council to Dmitry Stanev the Honored Worker of Culture of the PMR, the choreographer of the ensemble Vatra.
