Minute of silence in memory of the millions of victims opened plenary meeting that was held on the eve of the anniversary of the victory of the Soviet troops in the war 1941-1945.

The exposition, dedicated to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War takes place in the lobby at the entrance to the meeting room of the Supreme Council. Those who forged Great Victory are looking from photos. Among them – there are heroic descendants of Pridnestrovian parliamentarians. Materials from the family archives - photos, documents and personal belongings of the veterans - provided for the creation of photo-exhibition Ilona Tyuryaeva, Peter Pasat, Oleg Vasilaty and Gregory Dyachenko. The exhibition was open to replenishment. It will be valid until the end of May holidays.

Each member of the plenary meeting became a participant of the "George Ribbon" event, receiving a traditional two-color symbol of valor and courage of the Soviet soldier who used to create one of the main awards of the Great Patriotic war - "Order of Glory."

A solemn event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War took place at the meeting room of the Supreme Council on the 7th of May. The theme of the conference will be attended by members of parliament, invited veterans of the Great Patriotic War and Russian guests, who will arrive at the nationwide celebration of the Victory Day.
