Legal conflicts, leading to social injustice

24.02.2016

Deputy corps supported the initiative of Alexander Korshunov and Victor Guzun, regulating pension entrepreneurs’ issues. Today's regulations equate them to the recipients of the minimum pension, whereas these citizens cannot afford to "hang heavy" for the state, and employ themselves and even provide jobs to others. Despite the fact that since 2012 owners of patent do not file a tax return - they are fully realised and, perhaps, the most executive taxpayers as the cost of the patent - is a single tax payment.

Taking into consideration that there are registered more than 20 thousand individual entrepreneurs in Pridnestrovie, the problem is massive. Parliamentary initiative, the essence of which is the introduction to the legal concept of "notional income" has to solve it. Knowing the value of the patent, using a specially developed method of inverse calculation formula can calculate the amount of income, which was received by the entrepreneur for the period that is covered by the patent.

Alexander Korshunov insists that following the calculations, social justice will be restored. The government has prepared a negative opinion for this initiative. Deputy arguments that every year the number of patent owners-pensioners will grow did not changed their opinion. There were claims to the calculation formula, but the authors of the law-in-draft announced their readiness to work on its improvement.

As a result, the majority of votes decided the initiative on amendments to the Law "On State Pensions in PMR" adopted in the first reading and to continue working on it.
