The Advisory Vote Right

Deputies during the plenary session discussed legislative initiative of parliamentarian Vitaly Kalin. The legislator’s proposal concerns extension of the Accounting Chamber of powers by giving the supervisory body the opportunity to participate in the deliberative, collegial structures, committees in an advisory capacity.

Introduction to the legal environment of the Republic amendments to the Law "On the Accounts Chamber of PMR" does not require additional costs. As explained by the head of the supervisory body Svetlana Izmestieva, employees of the Accounts Chamber granted the right to participate in meetings of the collegial bodies as experts.

However, it was noted that the mechanism of realization of this right may be in question.

The law-in-draft on introduction of amendments to the Law "On the Accounts Chamber of PMR" was adopted in the first reading by majority of votes.
