Chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Council on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens Galina Antyufeeva, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Small and Medium Business and Industry Viktor Guzun become participants of the Yakovlevskiye readings on "Traditions and Innovations in the System of Modern Law" held in Pridnestrovie. They are based on the PSU, the first rector of which was Vasily Yakovlev Doctor of Law, one of the founders of the republic, the former deputy of the Supreme Council.
The second day of readings the parliamentarians took part in the meeting of the section, which was held on the basis of the Arbitration Court of PMR. Among the participants there are famous jurists from Russia: Elena Abrosimova, LL.D., Head of the the Department of Commercial Law, the Moscow State University M. Lomonosov, Tatiana Andreeva, PhD, assistant professor of civil and procedural law of the MSU. M. Lomonosov, as well as Russian lawyer Pavell Kozyrev.
Discussed topic was very specific and concerned civil and arbitration proceedings, in particular, the reform in the Russian Federation, and our implementation of this experience, registration and liquidation of legal entities of various organizational and legal forms.
The PhD, assistant professor of civil and procedural law of the MSU Tatiana Andreeva reported before attendees of the section, who shared Russian justice experience with Pridnestrovian colleagues. This is very important in an environment where the Pridnestrovian parliament harmonize legislation with the Russian republic. In its opinion, the court should be rapid, but not in prejudice of the quality and objectivity of law and justice. It is particularly important to consider strengthening the credibility of the Court as an independent agency. "The right to trial - is like the right to life", - concluded Tatiana Andreeva.
