Congratulations to generation of wisdom and experience

Solemn event was held in the capital's club "Veteran" on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Elderly in the republic. The words of gratitude were addressed to the representatives of the Republican public organization "Veterans of War, Labor and Armed Forces of Pridnestrovie". They brought Victory in the Great Patriotic War closer, built cities and villages during the post-war devastation, restored economic sectors, created families and raised children, 30 years ago they stood at the origins of the PMR, they defended the republic in 1992. The veterans are rightfully considered an example of unity, solidarity and loyalty to their homeland for the heroism and courage shown at all times.

Svetlana Bakhchevan noted that the organization always works in close contact with the legislative and executive power systems. Cooperation has been established with local deputies who provide assistance and assistance in solving many issues.

The deputy conveyed a congratulatory address on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council to the leadership of the republican organization. Sergei Cheban noted that the Parliament is ready to continue cooperating with veteran associations. Working in the field of social policy, the profile committee of the Supreme Council has repeatedly turned to public organizations for opinions and ideas in the framework of improving legislation.

Most of the veterans are active in social activities, many work in production, in museums and schools, participate in the restoration of burial sites, places of military glory, memorial complexes, as well as to perpetuate the memory of veterans in books today. Veterans show their creativity by participating in various competitions, concerts, round tables, publishing poems and articles. Public activists were awarded diplomas of the republican public organization. Veterans will receive their awards locally in cities and regions of the republic. Songs performed by soloists of the City Palace of Culture and creative teams of the Veteran club were sung today as a gift.
