Maria Mikhailovna Iontseva was born in the Leningrad region, in the village of Rysino. At the age of nine she met the war and almost immediately was captured. She spent in the German camps for a long time, and before the very end of the war, together with a group of prisoners, was sent to a landlord to work in a German courtyard.
After the defeat of the fascists the family of Maria Iontseva reunited - the father, mother and elder sister met in their native village. But there was nowhere to live, everything was crushed, and they were forced to huddle in soldiers' dugouts in the forest. A few months after the end of the war, father was sent to work in Chisinau. In 1946 the family moved to Bendery.
Maria Iontseva started working at the cannery as a laborer. Later, after getting married, she got a job as a laboratory assistant for a silk factory, where she worked until retirement. Maria Mikhailovna brought up her daughter. A granddaughter and great-granddaughter, who help her grandmother live in Bendery.
Anton Onufrienko presented the congratulatory address, a bouquet of flowers and a gift, wished good health, cares of relatives, well-being. The birthday person was also greeted by representatives of the primary organization of the Veterans Council of the “Silk” District.
