Please accept from the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic the sincere congratulations on the occasion of the wonderful spring holiday of Holy Easter!

Easter is the most joyful and solemn Christian holiday. It symbolizes the triumph of life, goodness and light, the salvation of the world and person, moral renewal. Easter celebrations turn us to centuries-old traditions, the spiritual and cultural heritage of Orthodoxy, unite people, bring mercy, harmony and grace into our lives.

The issues of strengthening spirituality, asserting high moral values and ideals are becoming especially important along with the desire to improve the standard of living of Pridnestrovians today.

It is gratifying to note that the Orthodox Church has become not just an essential part of civil society, but also the very active social force whose educational work is aimed at strengthening moral ideals in the minds of our citizens, the authority of family values, and at solving urgent problems in society.
