I congratulate you on a wonderful holiday, which is fraught with amazing legends, an inexhaustible reservoir of folk art – the Martisor holiday on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

The holiday symbolizes the beginning of spring, the awakening of nature, the birth of everything new. It introduces us to the history of our native land, to the origins of folk wisdom, helping us to understand the similarity of cultures of different nations, uniting people and elevating the ideals of goodness and beauty. The holiday expresses openness, sincerity and harmony in an original, unusual form.
