15.06.2023

Pridnestrovian doctors celebrate their professional holiday, Medical Worker's Day, on the third Sunday of June. It is the 18th of June this year. Vice Speaker of the Pridnestrovian Parliament Galina Antyufeeva and Deputy Ilona Tyuryaeva, in whose constituency the Republican Center for Mother and Child is located, congratulated the doctors and nurses on the eve of their holiday.

“We all come from a maternity hospital,” joked the guests, congratulating the doctors. The Republican Center for Mother and Child is reaching a modern level: repairs are being completed in pediatric hospitals, the laboratory has been working on new modern equipment for a year now, doctors are improving their skills and reaching new heights in the treatment of adults and young patients.

Women undergo examinations and treatment, children are born in the center of mother and child. Doctors and nurses help mothers, nurse babies and treat sick children. The hospital will not be able to cope even without specialists of auxiliary services. The hospital needs food, cleaning, clean linen, and medical equipment requires maintenance. The doctors of the Tiraspol maternity hospital have taken 56 thousand births, 174 thousand 534 children have been treated in the pediatric departments during 30 year.

The honorary title "Honored Doctor of the PMR" was given to obstetricians Lilia Bukatar and Oksana Cholak, the medal "For Distinction in Labor" was awarded to Elena Stasiunas, and the ranks of excellent health workers were replenished. On behalf of the President, the Chairman of the Supreme Council and the Head of Government, the best employees of the Center for Mother and Child Galina Antyufeeva and Ilona Tyuryaeva were presented with diplomas and letters of thanks.

Soloists of the Ensemble of the General Staff of the PMR Armed Forces prepared a concert program for doctors and nurses of the Center for Mother and Child. Incendiary songs and lyrical instrumental compositions sounded. Not everyone could see it. The doctors, midwives and nurses who took over the shift went to their departments to take births and treat sick children from the solemn meeting. Those who had a free hour enjoyed the festive concert.
