I cordially congratulate you on the Defender of the Fatherland Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

February 23 is the day of military glory, symbol of courage and heroism for each of us. Traditionally, we honor on this day the heroes who, in selfless service to the Motherland, protected their native land from enemies. This holiday is an important symbol of unity, which allows us to remember our history and be proud of our ancestors.

Military service has always been a matter of honor, a school of courage.

A vivid example of such disinterested service to the Motherland is our veterans. Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers worthily showed their loyalty, fortitude and real heroism. The current defenders of the Fatherland continue the best traditions of their predecessors, based on the values of citizenship and patriotism, and adequately fulfill their tasks. Military service has become not only a sacred duty, but also a true purpose, the meaning of life for many of them.

Let sincere love for your country, honor and readiness to defend our Motherland at any moment be a true guarantee of the progressive development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
