Dear employees of the internal affairs bodies!

I congratulate you on your professional holiday Militia Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

The state has entrusted Militia with responsible tasks of maintaining public order and public safety, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens and organizations, preventing and solving crimes and other offenses. Their successful solution to a large extent depends on each of you, on your competence and efficiency, on a clear understanding of the role of the internal affairs bodies in modern society and awareness of responsibility for your work to citizens and the state.

The level of law and order depends not only on the quality of the work of the internal affairs officers, but is also largely determined by the level of legal awareness of our citizens, of course. All authorities and public organizations face the very important task of raising the legal culture of the population, rooting in society the principles of respect and compliance with current laws.

I am confident that you will continue to remain faithful to your official duty, successfully resist crime, ensuring peace, order and stability in our republic, and multiply the glorious traditions of your predecessors.
