Dear workers and veterans of the land reclamation industry!

I congratulate you on your professional holiday – Land Reclamation Day on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!

The history of the domestic reclamation industry dates back to the mid-20s of the last century, when the construction of an irrigation system was started on the basis of the state farm named after Frunze, which provided irrigation of vegetable crops on an area of ​​160 hectares. The first irrigation system was built in Soviet Moldavia with underground pipelines on the basis of the same state farm. Our land reclamators were among the first in the world to start introducing the achievements of space research into the practice of organizing agricultural production.

The result of the activities of meliorators is the development of agriculture, the provision of stable crops and a solid fodder base for livestock, the rational use of the state's land fund.

The teams of the enterprises of the reclamation system of Pridnestrovie continue to successfully solve the issues of repair and restoration of the reclamation lands of the republic at a high professional level.
