Dear railway workers!
I congratulate you on your professional holiday on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf!
The railway industry is not just the most important sector of the economy of our country. Of course, it is a backbone for almost all industrial enterprises. This has always been the case, since the construction of the first railway line to the city of Tiraspol in the second half of the 60s of the XIX century, this is happening today, this will be the case in the future, taking into account the introduction of new technologies. The Pridnestrovian railway workers are making every effort to fulfill their tasks in difficult conditions.
Despite the political difficulties that have taken place in recent years, which directly affected the railway communication of the republic, the railway industry is an object on which great hopes are connected with. We hope that the current situation will stabilize and the volume of cargo transportation will begin to grow, the activation and increase in passenger traffic, the stable and well-coordinated functioning of all links of railway transport are an integral part of the process leading to the improvement of the Pridnestrovian economy. It is precisely for this reason that the work of a railway worker will not lose its relevance.
I am convinced that all temporary obstacles will be overcome by common efforts, the rich experience and traditions accumulated by the Pridnestrovian railway workers will be revived, and all the tasks facing the railway industry will be successfully solved.
The entire railway industry would like to wish active functioning and dynamic development on the Railway Workers Day. I sincerely wish well-being, prosperity, good health, faith in the future to the workers of the industry, and I express my deep gratitude for the dedication to the profession.
Chairman of the Supreme Council
of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
