Please accept my sincere congratulations on your professional holiday – the Day of the Power Engineer on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and me personally!

The energy industry in Pridnestrovie has always been a priority state issue. Many glorious pages of its history were written by previous generations of workers in the industry. Therefore I would like first of all to thank the veterans, whose knowledge, experience and dedicated work made it possible to implement many vital projects for our Republic, such as the construction of the Moldavian GRES and the Dubossary HPP.

The domestic energy complex is a basic component of the socio-economic potential of Pridnestrovie. The stability of the industrial and agricultural sectors of the state, transport and communications depend on the complex and intense daily work of Pridnestrovian power engineers and heat engineers. It can be noted with confidence that the workers of the domestic energy complex bear a huge responsibility for the energy security of not only the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, but also the countries – neighbors of our state, the main importers of Pridnestrovian electricity.

Undoubtedly, dedication to the chosen cause and traditionally high professionalism will allow the power engineers of the republic to successfully implement plans for the reconstruction of existing production capacities and the development of new modern energy infrastructure facilities, the introduction of advanced energy-efficient technologies, and to strengthen the reserves that are so necessary for the country in the current difficult economic conditions.
