The head of the Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Ties with Compatriots Edward Slutsky congratulated the speaker of parliament Mikhail Burla upon national holiday - the quarter-century anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The Deputy of the lower house of the Russian parliament also noted in the message that the main holiday of Pridnestrovians - the Republic Day - people in Russia involved as well, "which will never leave nor forsake courageous Pridnestrovian people in the face of threats and challenges of our difficult time and will do everything to live with dignity and develop".
