To increase the tourist attractiveness of Pridnestrovie

Increasing the tourist attractiveness of Pridnestrovie is one of the priority areas for development today. The State Target Program "Support and Development of Tourism in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2019-2026" was adopted in July 2019. It is designed for 7 years and is aimed at realizing the tourism potential of our republic and creating a modern tourism industry.

A number of events were held during the implementation of the state program in 2021.

One of the priority areas is the promotion of the Pridnestrovian tourism product on the global Internet, on the platforms of tourist operators and agencies, as well as through personal information platforms of the leading journalists of Pridnestrovie.

Much attention was paid to the support and promotion of the "Visit Pridnestrovie" website. The site tells about our republic, its history and original culture. There are more than 40 different tourist routes. There is a version in English for foreign tourists.

Road information signs of the main Pridnestrovian tourist attractions and routes to them were installed in the cities of Pridnestrovie as part of the implementation of the state program. Information signs indicate the way to such objects as the Tiraspol fortress, Catherine Park, the Theater named after N.S. Aronetskaya, the Pobeda (Victory) Park, Botanical Garden, Local History Museum, Historical Museum, KVINT factory, Aquatir sturgeon complex, Casa Karaman house-museum and Bottle house-museum, Kitskany bridgehead and Novo-Nyametsky Holy Ascension Monastery, Park named D.K. Rodin in Chobruchi and others.

300 thousand rubles were allocated for the implementation of the state program in 2021, of which 288 thousand rubles were disbursed. Thus, the implementation plan was completed by 96.1%.
