Salaries Increase from the 1st of May

26.05.2021

Wages of state employees and monetary allowances for military personnel and persons equated to them will increase in Pridnestrovie from May 1:

- the limits on wages for state institutions will increase by 4%, where the structure has already been optimized according to the pilot project and salaries have increased;

- 8% for employees of other budgetary organizations;

- the limits on the monetary allowance of servicemen, employees of the Ministry of Defense, Peacekeeping Forces of the PMR and employees of the State Service for the Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Justice will increase by 10%.

As a result of the increase in the size of the minimum wage, when calculating monetary allowances to employees of law enforcement agencies, the pension provision for these departments will increase.

Additional payments are provided for health workers who have been in contact with patients with suspected coronavirus. 91 million rubles will be required from the state budget for these purposes.

The law-in-draft, sent by the PMR President, was adopted by the Supreme Council today at the plenary session in two readings at once.

As the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov noted in a comment to the parliamentary press service, 2021 is as difficult as 2020, since the state lives in the conditions of the global coronavirus pandemic. Funds are allocated from the republican budget to carry out activities to identify and treat patients. Support is provided for physicians who work in the red zones.

The deputies initiated an increase in salaries last year, but the budget did not have the required amount of funds for these purposes, said Vadim Levitsky, deputy head of the relevant parliamentary committee.

The adopted amendments to the law "On the republican budget for 2021" were sent for signature to the President.
