Pridnestrovians Living Standards Raising

Deputies in the second and final reading adopted amendments to the Law "On the wages to public sector employees and pay to military personnel and persons equated to them". The purpose of the law developed by Vadim Krasnoselsky is to improve the living standards of public sector employees. In this connection, a gradual increase in the amount of wages not less than 7% per year since 2018 was proposed.

Article 11-1 of the Act, in particular, states: "Set the following dimensions and procedure for applying the calculated level of the minimum wage (hereinafter - MW) for the calculation of wages, calculation of financial assistance and other benefits: in 2018 - 1 minimum wage not less than 7.8 rubles, in 2019 - 1 minimum wage not less than 8.4 rubles, and in 2020 - 1 minimum wage of not less than 9.0 rubles".

Annual increase in pensions by at least 7% since 2018 was supposed. Changes made to the law "On State Pensions". In accordance with the amended pension payments must be made on a monthly basis and in full. Violation of the terms of payment of pensions is unacceptable. It sets the minimum amount of old-age pension for a total length of service: in 2018 - not less than 660 rubles, in 2019 - not less than 705 rubles, and in 2020 - at least 755 rubles.

As it was stated in the explanatory note to the law-in-draft, "sources of financing the additional costs are the tools that will be accumulated as a result of raising the level of financial transparency and economic development".

Earlier, the legislations, aimed at improving the living standards of Pridnestrovians was adopted in the first reading 30 November 2016. Today, the deputies unanimously voted for adoption of the law-in-draft in the second and final reading. Documents were sent to the signature of the President.
