Deputies began legislative work this week. The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance was already meeting at its first meeting in a new session. Today, under the chairmanship of Alexander Korshunov, the first meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council took place in this session. The Head of the legislature aimed his colleagues at fruitful work and expressed hope that the result of the joint efforts of the legislative body and representatives of the executive branch of government will be the adoption of balanced and correct decisions.

Autumn session is a traditional time for consideration and adoption of tax laws and the republican budget for the next year.

According to the Speaker, the draft budget was considered previously, in the framework of the so-called zero reading. It was decided that all state programs operating this year will be continued in 2020. At the same time, the Chairman of the Supreme Council noted that the specific areas in which it is planned to finance will be adjusted. For example, it is proposed to increase the budget of the Road Fund. About 20 million rubles are planned to be spent on repairing and restoring the pavement of the house areas and pavement zones.

2020 is the anniversary year. Pridnestrovie will host events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 30th anniversary of the republic. Funds for these purposes are also expected to be included in the budget for next year. In addition, 2020 is declared the Year of Health.

New document according to the speaker is expected in the Supreme Council - the draft Tax Code. Great work is ahead. The Tax Code is the first codified legislative act in Pridnestrovie that will unite all laws relating to the taxation of economic agents.

The Head of the legislative body noted that tax burden on the economy will not increase in 2020. The decisions made earlier in this area were correct. This confirms the positive dynamics of the development of economic agents, increase in the number of jobs, increase in budget revenues. The issue of introducing a simplified tax regime for individual entrepreneurs engaged in the provision of services is being considered. These changes in tax legislation, according to the Constitution should be adopted before the end of September. Deputies have three weeks to discuss and adopt it in the final version.

Plenary meeting, which will open the 8th session of the VIth convocation will be held tomorrow, September 11. The legislative season will be open. Large and complex work is ahead, according to the Chairman of the Supreme Council.
