The deputy corps will consider a package of legislations in the final reading that regulates the procedure for providing benefits for temporary disability, for pregnancy and childbirth. This is a legislative initiative of deputies Viktor Guzun and Sergei Cheban.
The basis for the development of legislations was the appeals of workers of small enterprises and individual entrepreneurs.
The provision of the current law applies to all large, medium, small and micro-enterprises. However, it often happens that small businesses do not always have the financial ability to pay benefits for temporary disability, pregnancy and childbirth on time.
The deputies came up with the initiative to create a mechanism providing that payments to such employees are made directly from the Unified State Social Insurance Fund.
In addition, the authors of the initiative note that women who are self-employed do not have the right to receive benefits for pregnancy and childbirth and a one-time benefit for registration in early pregnancy. It is proposed to legislate this right for this category of entrepreneurs.
The Supreme Council will consider in the first reading a number of amendments to the law "On Education" at the plenary session. In particular, it is proposed to legislate the possibility of distance learning.
Deputies will consider the law-in-draft "On the provision of psychological assistance in the PMR" in the first reading. This initiative involves amendments and additions to the Labor Code and the Law "On Licensing of Certain Types of Activities". The goal is the legal regulation of relations in the field of providing psychological assistance to the population.
In addition, the basis for the development of the new law was the long-overdue need for systematization and comprehensive legal regulation of activities to provide psychological assistance in Pridnestrovie. Today, there are more cases of poor-quality provision of psychological assistance or services that are announced as "provision of psychological assistance". The provision of psychological assistance is associated with the use of a certain kind of influence. However, the people who receive it are not yet provided with a legal guarantee of the high quality of such assistance. The law will allow regulating these relations, and will also provide legal guarantees for both psychologists themselves and for people receiving psychological assistance.
In addition, at the plenary session, the deputies will consider in the final reading the state targeted programs for the prevention of tuberculosis and immunization of the population. The terms is five years.
