The delegates of Peace: 30 years of the diplomatic service of Pridnestrovie

History of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie in frames, there are photo and video. The Republican Bureau of External Relations, the predecessor of the current Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was established in 1992. The leadership of the republic was invited to remember how it all began and how the Pridnestrovian diplomacy developed. They recalled at the Collegium dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the PMR Foreign Ministry the difficult 30 years of negotiations, meetings, signing documents and problems in the negotiation process that is frozen actually.

The Head of the Foreign Ministry emphasized that the issues of freedom of movement, delivery of goods, including humanitarian ones, banking blockade and many others remain unresolved on the agenda of the negotiation process. The closure by Ukraine at the end of February of checkpoints on the border with Pridnestrovie aggravated the situation. Moldova took advantage of the circumstances and increased the administrative-bureaucratic pressure. Vitaly Ignatiev noted that he considers the signing of a peace agreement between the two neighboring states to be the only right decision.

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky said in his speech that Moldova is a difficult negotiator. He focused on the fact that every employee of the diplomatic department of Pridnestrovie should be ideologically sound.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic spoke about the importance in the thousand-year history of wars and conflicts of negotiators - people who stop hostilities with a word. Alexander Korshunov called the diplomats peace envoys and noted their painstaking work for every minute of peaceful life in our republic.

Special words of gratitude at the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were addressed to veterans of the diplomatic service for their contribution to the creation and development of the diplomatic service of Pridnestrovie.

The President, the Chairman of the Supreme Council and the Chairman of the Government presented state awards - orders, medals and certificates to the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. Diplomats awarded the leaders of the republic with commemorative medals "30 years of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic".
